About MovieMonkie

MovieMonkie is a free movie-discovery service that provides personalized recommendations and links to third-party streaming services. We do not host or stream movies. These terms govern your use of our website and recommendation emails.

Using the service

Use MovieMonkie for personal, lawful purposes and provide an email address you are authorized to use. Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, misuse personal links, or use automated requests to disrupt the site. Links for managing your preferences are personal; keep them private.

Your picks and emails

Signing up requests recurring recommendation emails, normally on Mondays and Fridays, along with signup and other service-related messages. Timing and delivery may vary. You can update your preferences or unsubscribe using the links in our emails. Unsubscribing stops recommendation emails; it does not automatically delete your stored information.

Recommendations and suitability

Picks are based on your preferences, selected services, and feedback. Recommendations, summaries, ratings, and explanations may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not guarantees of enjoyment or suitability. Check a movie’s rating and content information before watching, especially with children.

Streaming services

Availability, prices, subscription requirements, and regional access are controlled by third-party providers and can change. A subscription, payment, or separate account may be required. Your use of a streaming service is subject to that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

Movie artwork and attribution

Posters, movie artwork, streaming logos, names, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement or affiliation. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.

Service availability and responsibility

We aim to keep MovieMonkie useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted access, error-free recommendations, or delivery of every email. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without warranties of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to the service and terms

We may improve, change, or discontinue features. Updates to these terms will appear here with a revised update date. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated by email where appropriate. Changes apply prospectively, subject to any notice or consent required by law.
